Transit was established in 2000 as a single station in the city of Al-Hariq, and year after year, Transit expanded until it became in 2007 a company specialized in managing fuel stations and service centers, owning a limited number of stations in the cities of Riyadh, Al-Hariq, and Al-Aflaj.
Believing in the necessity of providing high-level service to reach customers in all regions of the Kingdom, Transit adopted an ambitious geographic expansion plan with a modern identity reflecting the company's aspiration to soar in the skies of creativity.
This plan started with expansion into new areas and cities, through which Transit formed a network of dozens of stations in the central, western, southern regions, Qassim, and the eastern region.
As securing supply chains is a fundamental pillar of any commercial work, the company established an integrated sector for the transportation and distribution of petroleum products serving the company and its customers in all regions of the Kingdom and today has become an approved carrier from Saudi Aramco.
Transit also established Abraj International Company, specialized in building and rehabilitating fuel stations in compliance with the requirements and standards of the Ministry of Energy, which today has become a qualified company in this field as well.
As the supermarket sector is one of the important complementary requirements for the service system in fuel stations, Transit launched its brand (Smile), specialized in managing supermarkets in 2021, to manage the supermarkets in Transit stations.
Dar Donut Factory, specialized in the manufacture and distribution of baked goods for Smile and the education sectors from schools and colleges, is another contributor to the catering sector in Transit.
Transit is also a commercial agent and distributor for many brands in the field of fuel pumps and spare parts, prominently featuring the name of Dover, the Canadian company specialized in manufacturing fuel pumps, as one of Transit's success partners.
Finally, after this long experience in the field of fuel stations, Transit earned the trust of the Ministry of Energy as one of the qualified companies to operate fuel stations and service centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
